SILVERWOOD BAND are Looking for New Players!

It’s been an incredible year for Silverwood Band. We’ve performed a wide and varied repertoire to a range of venues across the region. We’ve also welcomed fantastic new members who’ve already made their mark.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to keep growing our sound, our repertoire, and our community. We’re therefore looking for new players to join us, especially in the brass and heavy brass sections. The band rehearses every Thursday night 7.30pm till 9.30pm at Marton Methodist Church, The Grove, Marton, Middlesbrough TS7 8AB. https://www.silverwoodband.org.uk

I have been asked a few times about getting gigs in clubs. I am not involved in booking any gigs, I just list them on this website.

The best bet is to turn up at clubs so that you can be seen in action, or contact the club oraniser directly. Most have contact details on this website. Good Luck :)

Yes folks! I am still running Folk Roundabout, and yes, it keeps me busy.

I do interviews and film making (One 2 min film took 3 days to make) too which takes a lot of time (I make films for people) - all the background stuff.

Currently doing the Harvey Andrews interview and South Shield's club film - in between my songwriting and attending clubs, so it all takes time :)

I DO THIS ALONE SO PLEASE BEAR WITH ME AS I DO HAVE A PERSONAL LIFE TOO :)
